What's going on in the world of Hire-It!

• Winner of Executive Hire Show 2010 - Passionate Hirer Award

The award was from the Executive Hire News publication. They decided to visit 305 independent Plant Hire companies all over the UK. These visits were totally anonymous. A short list was compiled of the best of these companies and then enquiries were made to our customers and suppliers.

Mystery customers called in or telephoned us to check on our customer service. Eventually we were told about this and a representative from the Executive Hire News called to interview us and check out our premises with special consideration to our staff, work shop and technical facilities.

Everything was given a mark and Hire It Kidderminster came out on top!

The award was presented at the Executive Hire Show 2010 atThe Ricoh Arena Coventry in front of a crowd of over 400 people from the world of Plant Hire and John said it was nerve wracking waiting on stage with the other finalists to hear if we had won.

After a short presentation on each company finalist we heard the news we had hoped for and were absolutely delighted. We couldn't wait to telephone all the lads and girls at Hire It to tell them the news. It's such a team effort to run a place like Hire It and we are very proud of each and every one of our staff.

After the award ceremony there was a party where we could let our hair down and enjoy ourselves and meet up with friends from the Plant Hire community.

Thanks to our sponsorship The Graham Glenister Ombersely Golf School are able to offer a limited number of spaces to children interested in taking up and playing golf.

John and Fiona are staying local with their support of a team in the Kidderminster Area Sunday Division 5 league.
The team have been supplied a kit in the new Hire-It! colours and John has promised extra rewards if they make the top six!!






• The HIRE-IT! 5-a-side team launch their new 2008/9 kit!

Team Hire-It have made a change from their previous colours of red and black to return to their red and white roots of their sponsor. The new kit will see it's first outing on 10th May at the Harriers 5-a-side tournament. As ever John and Fiona are supporting the team as they do with a number of other teams and sporting individuals across the town.

• Website Re-launch

Hire-It's website, thetoolhireshop.com, which has remained virtuallly unchanged since its launch five years ago, has now undergone a major overhaul. This effort has not only been made to accomodate the new logo and colours, but also to improve the user experience, by cleaning up the interface and introcuding new options for interaction. The new site contains a fully searchable pricelist which should help you to find the perfect tool that much quicker. We are always adding new tools to our fleet and will try and upload them here as soon as we can but as before, if you're after something and cannot find it here, give us a call and we'll do our best to help.
